McLean Closing Speaker at Criminal/Constitutional Legal Conference in Cuzco, Peru

Jeremy McLean, Staff Attorney at the Worker Justice Center of New York, was the closing speaker at a constitutional and criminal law conference in Cuzco. Peruvian and international legal experts were invited to present the economic ramifications of constitutional and criminal legal issues internationally and in Peru. McLean presented several examples of the illicit advantages that non-compliant firms enjoy when regulation is not effectively enforced by the government. Included in those examples were extreme cases of non-compliance with labor and civil rights laws that amounted to human trafficking in both the US and Peru.
